30 years after the event, Salvador Allende is the first film to be shown in Chile that explains the coup d'état that brings down the democratic regime. Using all manner of historic documents, it traces the biography of Salvador Allende up to the day of his death on the eleventh of September, 1973, when the Presidential Palace is attacked and bombed by the military coup.
