Caye (Candela Peña) is a local prostitute who looks on the arrival of foreign migrants to the profession with suspicion, while Zulema (Micaela Nevárez) is a girl prepared to earn her living. Princesas is the story of two prostitutes and how, despite their differences, they manage to build a friendship that serves to overcome the adversities of their everyday lives.
