This 2,000 m2 exhibition, provides an explanation of the tragedy that befell Pompeii when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. Designed out as a city tour, the exhibition seeks emotion and spectacularity. Featuring more than 600 pieces in total, including everyday objects and audio-visual installations, it provides in-depth insight into the history of the city’s catastrophic destruction.
